MR CLICK-ONDISPLAY
A QUANTUM LEAP IN MR
When will mixed reality become truly practical? Now!
Our goal: to ultimately create a mixed reality experience that feels completely intuitive and natural.
The first step towards this is already at hand with VPS 19 smart glasses. We call it the world’s first real-time perception tracker because the glasses read the wearer’s conscious and unconscious eye movements in real time.
This enables intuitive communication today between users as they go about their work.
In the future, it will be possible to expand the system with an MR click-on display, which will provide digital information and display it in front of the wearer’s eye. With the use of eye gestures, we will be able to offer, a revolutionary control system that works entirely without hands or voice.
Gaze-based MR: without voice, without hands –
just with the eyes
We believe linking the real and virtual world is the future. But controlling something with your hands or voice – is a deliberate action and will therefore interrupt the immersive MR experience.
The use of the eyes as an interface between human and machine, allows for an intuitive interaction and bi-directional information exchange, thus making this next step possible: full immersion in a cross-reality experience.
Features
REVOLUTIONARY INTERFACE LOOK, BLINK, CONTROL: FORGET ABOUT A MOUSE, TRACKPAD OR SWIPING
Imagine interacting with digital content with your eyes only. It has never been done before in this form, so easily and so suitable for everyday use.
This giant step in MR is made possible by eye gestures. Instead of using a mouse, trackpad or hands, you simply interact with your gaze and make selections with the blink of an eye.
What is also revolutionary: menus and all imported information is displayed in the line of sight of the wearer where it can easily be processed. Thanks to eye tracking, the VPS 19 knows exactly where the wearer is looking and places all virtual content in the right depth where the wearer already has his focus. In this way, the wearer always keeps focus on the task in front of them instead of constantly shifting the eyes, jumping back and forth between digital information and real life.
