DATA PROCESSING ON THIS SITE

PROCESSORS, RECIPIENTS

We process your personal data with the support of data processors, who support our company in providing services (e.g. web hosting services, email newsletter forwarding service, CRM providers, accounting, etc.). These processors are obliged to strictly protect your personal data and shall not process your personal data for any purpose other than providing our services.
Your personal data are only forwarded to typical economic operators, such as banks (in the event of transfers to you), tax advisers (if you feature in our accounts), shipment providers (in the event of delivery), etc.

FULFILMENT OF CONTRACT

The personal data of the Client and the data of the Client’s relevant members of staff will be processed for fulfilment of the present contract on the basis of the existing contractual relationship and the statutory provisions.

There is no obligation to conclude the contract. However, failure to conclude the contract would mean that the order cannot be accepted.

Data will be processed by Viewpointsystem for direct marketing in ways not requiring consent, such as the sending of addressed advertisements by post. This processing shall be agreed for the purposes of contract fulfilment.

Data for direct marketing in ways requiring consent, such as the sending of e-mail advertisements or the placing of personal advertisements will only be processed on the basis of additional consent granted voluntarily by the Client. The Client is under no obligation to grant this consent. The only consequence of failure to grant this consent would be that the Client would not receive any advertising in forms that require consent.

All data is subject to the agreed or statutory obligations of confidentiality and protection of personal data. Beyond the forwarding of Client data to typical business recipients such as banks, tax consultants, lawyers, shipping services etc. Client data shall only be forwarded in accordance with the legal requirements or as agreed with the Client.

Client data will be kept for documentation purposes and to fulfil legal obligations for a maximum period of thirty years after completion of the orders.

The Client shall have the right to revoke this consent at any time. Consent given in writing may only be revoked in writing, consent to receive electronic advertising may if applicable be withdrawn by clicking on the unsubscribe link. In this case, in the absence of any other legal basis, processing shall be discontinued. The withdrawal of consent shall in no way affect the legality of the data processed until consent was revoked.

The Client has the right to object to the processing of his personal data for the purpose of direct marketing. If consent is withdrawn the personal data will no longer be used for direct marketing.

MAKING CONTACT

Making contact through our contact form:
After you have sent the contact form, personal data entered by you are processed in order to handle your request based on your consent, as granted by submitting the form. There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide personal data. Failure to provide data merely results in you being unable to forward your request, meaning we are unable to deal with it.
You are entitled to withdraw your consent at any time through written notice, without affecting the legality of processing by virtue of consent until withdrawal thereof. Making contact at trade fairs or events:
Following personal contact and handover of your contact details or business card, your personal data will be processed in our CRM System in order to make further contact based on your consent, as granted through the personal handover of your contact data.
You are entitled to withdraw your consent at any time through written notice, without affecting the legality of processing by virtue of consent until withdrawal thereof.

REGISTRATION FORM

Once the registration form has been submitted, the abovementioned data are processed for the purpose of contractual performance based on a contract concluded for the contractual period upon registration.
There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide personal data. Failure to provide data merely results in you being unable to register/ enter into a contract/ use the service. Data that are compatible with the original purpose of processing are processed on the same legal basis for the purpose of direct marketing in forms that are not subject to consent, such as targeted postal delivery of advertising, until any objection is raised. In this case data are forwarded to shipment providers.
You are entitled to object to the use of your personal data for the purpose of direct mail advertising by written notice at any time. In the event of an objection, your personal data will no longer be processed for the purpose of direct mail advertising.

EMAIL NEWSLETTERS

By confirming the link in the double opt-in email, you consent to processing of your personal data for the purpose of information on new products from Viewpointsystem & industry news by means of an email newsletter until withdrawal thereof or the raising of any objections thereto.
There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide personal data. Failure to give consent merely results in you not receiving email newsletters.
You are entitled to withdraw your consent at any time through written notice or by clicking on the deregister link in the email newsletter, without affecting the legality of processing by virtue of consent until withdrawal thereof.
